Noel Paine is an English artist and a landscape painter.
He divides his working practice between working directly outside in the landscape and within the studio. He paints predominately from drawings, completing large oil on canvas works in the studio.
Jim Jack is a London based sculptor originally from the Fisher towns of the Moray Firth (Scotland). For Jim, each work starts with the statement “What can I do with this? How can I change it?”. He combines the attention to detail and skills of a craftsman with the inquiring mind and vision of an Artist.
Classical Live Music
Arcangelo - a Grammy-nominated ensemble dedicated to Baroque and Classical instrumental and vocal music, founded by its Artistic Director Jonathan Cohen.
For this event, Jonathan is joined by three outstanding Arcangelo collaborators: violinist Sophie Gent, gambist Jonathan Manson, and lutenist Thomas Dunford. They will play previews of their new recording project – “musical sudokus” by the legendary 17th century composer Buxtehude, whose reputation inspired the young Bach to make a 300 mile walking pilgrimage.
All of Arcangelo’s award-winning recording projects are sponsored by private donations.
Information and invitations to support this latest project will be made during the event.
